Despite Some Showers Monday Will Still Be Very Hot

MondaySome showers are in the forecast for South Florida on Monday, but it will still be very hot.  Monday features good sun followed by building clouds and some afternoon showers and maybe a storm, especially in the eastern part of the area.  Highs on Monday will be in the low 90s, but it will feel about 10 degrees hotter.

Tuesday will bring more widespread afternoon showers, but we’ll see plenty of sun as well.  Tuesday’s highs will be in the low 90s.

Look for periods of showers and storms on Wednesday.  Wednesday’s highs will be near 90 degrees.

Thursday will feature early sun with a few clouds, while showers and storms will be back in the afternoon.  Thursday’s highs will be near 90 degrees.

Faith Based Events

Friday’s forecast includes a mix of sun, clouds, showers, and storms.  Highs on Friday will be in the upper 80s.

The tropical Atlantic remains quiet.

She holds a PhD in history when her experience with Hurricane Andrew ultimately led her to earn a degree in broadcast meteorology from Mississippi State University. Donna spent 15 years at WFOR-TV (CBS4 in Miami-Fort Lauderdale), where she worked as a weather producer with hurricane experts Bryan Norcross and David Bernard. She also produced hurricane specials and weather-related features and news coverage, as well as serving as pool TV producer at the National Hurricane Center during the 2004 and 2005 seasons. Donna also served as a researcher on NOAA's Atlantic Hurricane Database Reanalysis Project. Donna specializes in Florida's hurricane history.
