Hot Sun And Watching The Tropics

tropics

South Florida will see hot sun and a few showers on Tuesday as we watch the tropics throughout the workweek.  Here at home, Tuesday features good sun, some clouds, and a few afternoon showers and storms.  Highs on Tuesday will be in the low 90s — but it will feel about 10 degrees hotter.

Wednesday will bring a mix of sun and clouds, with afternoon showers and storms around.  Wednesday’s highs will be in the low 90s.

Look for some sun, more clouds, and plenty of passing showers and storms on Thursday.  Thursday’s highs will be near 90 degrees.

Plenty of tropical moisture will be in our area on Friday, bringing clouds, showers, and storms.  Friday’s highs will be near 90 degrees.

Saturday will be unsettled, with some sun, some clouds, and periods of showers and storms.  Highs on Saturday will be near 90 degrees.

We’re watching a tropical wave that’s now in the Lesser Antilles.  This feature has a low chance of developing during the next few days as it encounters unfavorable conditions.  But it is headed in the direction of the Bahamas and South Florida, where some development is possible.  We’ll watch all this very closely.
