Sunday will be another day of clouds, showers, and storms in South Florida.  The day features mostly cloudy skies, passing showers in the morning, and periods of showers and storms in the afternoon.  Highs on Sunday will be in the upper 80s along the Gulf coast and near 90 degrees elsewhere.

Look for lingering clouds and periods of showers and a few storms on Monday.  Monday’s highs will be in the upper 80s at Gulf coast locations and around 90 degrees in the east coast metro area.

Tuesday will bring a shift back to more typical summertime weather, with a mix of sun and clouds with mostly afternoon showers and passing storms.  Tuesday’s highs will be near 90 degrees.

Wednesday will feature a mix of sun, clouds, showers, and a few storms.  Wednesday’s highs will be mostly in the low 90s.

Thursday’s forecast includes sun at times, periods of cloudiness, and passing showers and storms.  Highs on Thursday will be near 90 degrees.

In the tropics, the wave in the central Atlantic has a low chance of developing during the next couple of days.  After that, it will encounter unfavorable conditions before reaching the Lesser Antilles.
