Tropical Moisture Brings Showers And Storms

Moisture
Tropical moisture is moving into South Florida on Monday, so showers and storms will be around.  Monday features morning showers in spots along the east coast, and we can’t rule out a stray storm.  The showers and storms shift to the west in the afternoon, with greatest coverage along the Gulf coast.  Highs on Monday will be near 90 degrees.
The tropical moisture lingers on Tuesday, so we’ll see some showers and storms, especially in the interior and along the Gulf coast.  Tuesday’s highs will be near 90 degrees.
Look for some overnight showers as Wednesday begins.  Then Wednesday will bring additional east coast showers in the morning and afternoon showers and storms along the sea breezes.  Wednesday’s highs will be in the low 90s.
Thursday will feature early east coast showers and afternoon showers and storms forming along the sea breezes.  Thursday’s highs will be in the low 90s.
A tropical wave approaches the area on Friday, bringing periods of showers and storms.  Highs on Friday will be in the low 90s.
We’re seeing tropical waves move across the Atlantic — as they always do this time of year — but no tropical depressions are expected to form during the next 5 days.
