WEST PALM BEACH — SunFest couldn’t wait until March to announce this year’s lineup, and so they jumped the gun and let the cat out of the bag a few days early.
On tap for this year’s spring waterfront music extravaganza?
Rock band Alabama Shakes, who performed to great fanfare at the Grammys, All About That Bass singer Meghan Trainor and 1980s staple Duran Duran.
You need more? How does super group Train sound?
There’s also Broward County singer/song writer Jason DeRulo with top hits Talk Dirty to Me and Wiggle Wiggle.
Oh, but that’s not all. There’ll also be Jesse’s Girl singer Rick Springfield, rapping girl band Salt N Pepa, the Brit rokers of Bastille (Pompeii) and the ever cool The Roots. And, there are a couple dozen more bands than that! Check out the full schedule here.
SunFest, the annual downtown West Palm Beach event, runs from Wednesday, April 27 through Sunday, May 1.
It’s a good thing this year’s lineup is so strong, because SunFest now has to compete with the new kid in town, the Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival.
The Okeechobee festival kicks off its inaugural year March 4 through March 6
A little competition never hurt nobody!
Meanwhile, enjoy the song that’s bound to get folks out of their seats on the evening of April 28:

A simple Google search would reveal that Jason Derulo is not a rapper. Please do better.
