JUPITER ISLAND — Golf legend Greg Norman put Tranquility, the Jupiter Island property he bought 25 years ago, on the market earlier this month.
The links Leviathan wants $55 million for the ocean-to-intracoastal compound with seven buildings and a total 26,000 square feet of living space.

Tranquility is the second marquee property on the tony island that goes up for sale over the past few weeks: Friday, we told you exclusively that recently widowed singer Celine Dion re-listed her mansion for $45.5 million, nearly $30 million less than what she originally listed it for in 2013.
Norman’s move is the most surprising since the winner of two U.S. Opens considered Tranquility to be his ultimate dream house, a resort-style Caribbean island getaway without the disadvantages of the Caribbean.
Martin County property records show The Great White Shark, 61, bought the 8 acres at 382 South Beach Road in 1991 for $4.9 million.
The property is estimated by tax assessors to be worth about $21 million, for which Norman pays $180,000-plus a year in property taxes.
Listing agent Adrian Reed at Renton Lang & Bruner declined comment.
The winner of 20 PGA Tour tournaments, Norman raised his two children with ex-wife Laura Andrassy on the property, briefly lived with second wife and tennis legend Chris Evert and recently settled with third, and youngest, wife Kirsten Kutner and her two little kids.
Norman didn’t return calls for comment on why he wants to sell.
