Following a decisive win in the Florida primary and key endorsements from former presidential candidate, Dr. Ben Carson and Florida Governor Rick Scott, Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump will be right at home when he keynotes the Palm Beach County GOP’s Lincoln Day dinner at the Mar-a-Lago Club on Sunday, March 20.
“I’m excited that Mr. Trump will be the keynote speaker at the Republican Party of Palm Beach Lincoln Day Dinner,” Chairman Michael Barnett told South Florida Reporter. “With his recent win not only in Florida but in several states across the nation, Donald Trump is well on his way to beating Hillary Clinton in November.”
The 2016 Lincoln Day Dinner of the Palm Beach County Republican Party will be held Sunday, March 20 at the Mar-a-Lago Club, 1100 S. Ocean Blvd, Palm Beach, Florida. Doors will open at 4pm for a VIP and general reception. The event has been sold out since early January and no tickets are available.
Guest Speakers
The program will also feature remarks by former Presidential candidate Dr. Ben Carson, Florida Lt. Governor Carlos Lopez-Cantera, Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi, Wall Street Journal columnist and author Peggy Noonan, radio talk show host and best-selling author Laura Ingraham, National Spokesperson for the Congress of Racial Equality Niger Innis and Rush Limbaugh Show producer, Bo Snerdley.
Prior to the dinner, Chairman Michael Barnett and the Palm Beach County Republican Party will host a VIP Reception that will include Donald Trump and each of the featured speakers. A number of local, state, and federal officials and candidates for public office will also be in attendance.
“The reception offers an opportunity to chat one-on-one with the Republican presidential front-runner,” Barnett told South Florida Reporter. “Guests will also have an opportunity to speak with candidates who have filed for the U.S. Senate, the U.S. House of Representatives, the Florida House and Senate, as well as a number of local offices.”
“He’s actually a very intelligent man who cares deeply about America,” Carson said during a press conference endorsing the GOP front-runner. “There’s two different Donald Trumps. There’s the one you see on stage and the one that’s very cerebral, sits there and considers things very carefully,” Carson added.
“We have to win in November,” Governor Rick Scott stated to Fox Business News. “If we want a president that’s going to focus on jobs, defending the Second Amendment, having somebody on the Supreme Court that believes in the Constitution, and rebuild the military, then we’ve got to start focusing on winning in November. The only way to do that is get behind Donald Trump today.”
