Donald Trump Doesn’t Want To Pay His Taxes!

Donald Trump wants fewer taxes for the wealthy, and he wants it to start with the $1.8 million tax bill given to his Trump National Doral golf resort.

Gary Appel, a lawyer for the golfer-in-chief, was in Miami Thursday appealing the 2016 tax assessment and said “Virtually all” large property owners appeal their tax bills. “We are no different than anyone else.”

Well, there is the difference that the president has his name on the property, but Appel isn’t trying to get special treatment for Trump National Doral just because Trump’s president.

Nope, this is the fifth year in a row the resort has tried to get its bill lowered!

And the Prez usually tries to get his bill lowered for most of his South Florida properties.

Last year, Trump National Doral won its appeal and the county tax collector reduced its bill by $143,ooo.

Trump’s lawyers are hoping for a repeat. In 2016, the Miami-Dade property appraiser assessed Trump’s Doral value at nearly $112 million, up significantly from about $98 million in 2015.
