Ella Fitzgerald famously sang, “Spring Can Really Hang You Up The Most,” and no one knows that better than Broward-native Johnny Depp whose new wife filed for divorce just THREE DAYS after his mother died.
Ouch!
Depp, 52, and his long-term squeeze Amber Heard, 30, were married for a mere 15 months, but she just filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences.
And she wants some of Depp’s $400 million fortune in the form of spousal support despite the fact the torn lovebirds never signed a pre-nuptial agreement.
At least, the bisexual Heard waited until two days after Depp’s mother and close companion Betty Sue Palmer died.
Depp and his mother were extremely close. He even had her name tattooed inside a heart on his left arm. Awww!
But, according to reports, it’s Heard wasn’t feeling the love.
She and Palmer had bitter issues, and Palmer thought Heard treated Depp badly.
Reportedly, Depp’s daughters from his marriage with Vanessa Paradis also feuded with Heard.
Poor Depp has been super unlucky in love. This’ll be his second divorce. He also had three failed engagements to Dirty Dancing’s Jennifer Grey, Edward Scissorhands co-star Wynona Ryder and Twin Peaks‘ Sherilyn Fenn.
You’d think that with that history Depp would’ve signed a pre-nup, just in case. But he didn’t.
