Donald Trump loves the limelight, so he’s not shying away from attending this year’s Red Cross Ball, even though thousands have said they’ll be gathering to march in protest to his executive order on immigration and refugees.
Kind of ironic since the Red Cross is all about refugees.
Palm Beach sources say not only will Trump be there, First Lady Melania will be there too. It’ll be a nice reunion for the married pair since she’s not yet moved into the White House (and has no plans to at this point.)
As befits a president, Trump and Melania will have their own table.
Six ambassadors representing Afghanistan, Colombia, Italy, Jordan, Peru and Switzerland will also be there as will about 700 others.
Tickets to this ball, widely acknowledged to be the jewel of the Palm Beach social season, go for as much as $50,000. Not too expensive for the chance to grab a moment with the president, now is it?
Thousands of protesters? Where do they think they will protest? On South Ocean Blvd? I doubt Palm Beach will allow them to disrupt traffic as the Berkeley Mayor did this week but if they exhibit the same violence, they will be charged and jailed. Palm Beachers do not tolerate thugs. These are not normal protests. They are organised and funded by left Fascists.
