Warming Up

Warming UpSouth Florida can put away the coats for a while, because we’re finally warming up on Sunday. The day will start out on the cool side, but then Sunday features a mix of sun and clouds with a few quick showers on an ocean breeze. A high risk of dangerous rip currents is in place at the Atlantic beaches, and rip currents will be a hazard during much of the week ahead. Highs on Sunday will be in the low 70s.

Monday’s weather will be more typical of South Florida in January — an early morning start in the 60s, then sun, clouds, and a few quick showers at times. Monday’s highs will be in the upper 70s.

Clouds and showers move in Monday night and into Tuesday, and Tuesday will see a mix of clouds, showers, and some sun. Tuesday’s highs will be in the upper 70s.

We’ll see more sun and fewer clouds on Wednesday. Wednesday’s highs will be in the mid to upper 70s.

Good sun and a few clouds are in the forecast for Thursday. Thursday’s highs will be near 80 degrees.
