Warming Trend

Warming TrendSouth Florida will see sun, clouds, and winter warmth on Saturday. After a rather cool start, the day will feature some sun, some clouds, and the continuation of our warming trend. We’ll also see an increasing risk of dangerous rip currents at the Atlantic beaches, especially in Miami-Dade. Highs on Saturday will be near 80 degrees.

 

Warming TrendSunday morning will be pleasant, with lows in the mid to upper 60s. The day will bring a mix of sun and clouds, with maybe a late, quick shower at the coast. Sunday’s highs will be in the low 80s.

Monday will be another pleasantly warm day, with a mix of sun and clouds. Monday’s highs will be mostly in the low 80s. Look for sun, a few clouds, and maybe a shower on Tuesday. Tuesday’s highs will be in the low 80s.

Wednesday will bring a mix of sun and clouds as a weak front approaches. Highs on Wednesday will be near 80 degrees.

She also produced hurricane specials and weather-related features and news coverage, as well as serving as pool TV producer at the National Hurricane Center during the 2004 and 2005 seasons. Donna also served as a researcher on NOAA's Atlantic Hurricane Database Reanalysis Project. Donna specializes in Florida's hurricane history.
