Saturday features brisk and gusty breezes with just the chance of a stray shower in spots.  Look for mostly sunny skies in the East Coast metro area and the Keys and lots of sun along the Gulf Coast.  A high risk of dangerous rip currents remains at the Atlantic beaches through Sunday evening.  Highs on Saturday will be in the mid-80s in the East Coast metro area and the Keys, and mostly in the upper-80s along the Gulf Coast.

Sunday will bring sunny skies and a warm and gusty breeze.  Sunday’s highs will be in the mid-80s.

Monday will feature mostly sunny skies and a gusty breeze on the East Coast metro area.  The Gulf Coast and the Keys will see a mix of sun, clouds, and showers on a gusty breeze as a front moves in.  Look for evening showers around South Florida.  Monday’s highs will be mostly in the upper-80s in the East Coast metro area and the mid-80s along the Gulf Coast and in the Keys.

Tuesday will see some sun, more clouds, and periods of showers.  Tuesday’s highs will be mostly in the mid-80s in the East Coast metro area and mostly in the upper-70s along the Gulf Coast and the Keys.

Faith Based Events

Wednesday’s forecast calls for morning lows in the 60s on the mainland, followed by a mix of sun, clouds, and a few showers in the East Coast metro area and lots of sun along the Gulf Coast and the Keys.  Highs on Wednesday will be in the low-80s in the East Coast metro area and near 80 degrees along the Gulf Coast and the Keys.

She holds a PhD in history when her experience with Hurricane Andrew ultimately led her to earn a degree in broadcast meteorology from Mississippi State University. Donna spent 15 years at WFOR-TV (CBS4 in Miami-Fort Lauderdale), where she worked as a weather producer with hurricane experts Bryan Norcross and David Bernard. She also produced hurricane specials and weather-related features and news coverage, as well as serving as pool TV producer at the National Hurricane Center during the 2004 and 2005 seasons. Donna also served as a researcher on NOAA's Atlantic Hurricane Database Reanalysis Project. Donna specializes in Florida's hurricane history.
