Warm Sun and a Gusty Breeze

Saturday features lots of sun with a cloud or two at times on a gusty breeze.  Expect an elevated risk of dangerous rip currents at the Atlantic beaches, especially along the Palm Beach County coast.  Highs on Saturday will be mostly in the mid-80s.

Sunday will bring sunny skies and breezy conditions on the mainland, with some late night showers as a front moves in.  The Keys will see a mix of sun, clouds, and showers.  Sunday’s highs will be in the mid-80s in the East Coast metro area, the low-80s along the Gulf Coast, and the Keys.

Monday will feature some sun and plenty of clouds and showers on a gusty breeze.  Monday’s highs will be mostly in the upper-70s in the East Coast metro area and the mid-70s along the Gulf Coast and in the Keys.

Tuesday morning will be on the chilly side, with lows in the mid-50s to low-60s on the mainland and the mid-60s in the Keys.  The day will see sunny skies.  Tuesday’s highs will be near 80 degrees in the East Coast metro area and in the upper-70s along the Gulf Coast and the Keys.

Faith Based Events

Wednesday’s forecast calls for another cool morning, followed by lots of sun.  Highs on Wednesday will be mostly in the low-80s in the East Coast metro area and in the upper-70s along the Gulf Coast and the Keys.

Donna Thomas has studied hurricanes for two decades. She holds a PhD in history when her experience with Hurricane Andrew ultimately led her to earn a degree in broadcast meteorology from Mississippi State University. Donna spent 15 years at WFOR-TV (CBS4 in Miami-Fort Lauderdale), where she worked as a weather producer with hurricane experts Bryan Norcross and David Bernard. She also produced hurricane specials and weather-related features and news coverage, as well as serving as pool TV producer at the National Hurricane Center during the 2004 and 2005 seasons. Donna also served as a researcher on NOAA's Atlantic Hurricane Database Reanalysis Project. Donna specializes in Florida's hurricane history.
