Breezy DaySouth Florida will see a mix of sun, clouds, and showers on a breezy day. After a cool start, the day features decent sun, some clouds and a few passing showers on a brisk ocean breeze, and the continuing high risk of dangerous rip currents at the Atlantic beaches. Highs on Tuesday will be mostly in the mid 70s.

 

Breezy DayWednesday will get off to a slightly warmer start with morning lows near 60 degrees. We’ll see a mix of sun and clouds, along with a few showers later in the day as a cold front approaches. Wednesday’s highs will be in the mid 70s.

The front will move out overnight, and Thursday will feature plenty of sun, a few clouds, and a chilly breeze. Thursday’s highs will only reach the mid 60s.

Faith Based Events

We’ll enjoy good sun on Friday, with just a few clouds on a cool day. Friday’s highs will be in the low 70s.

Look for a nice Saturday, along with good sun and some clouds. Highs on Saturday will be in the mid 70s.

Donna Thomas has studied hurricanes for two decades. She holds a PhD in history when her experience with Hurricane Andrew ultimately led her to earn a degree in broadcast meteorology from Mississippi State University. Donna spent 15 years at WFOR-TV (CBS4 in Miami-Fort Lauderdale), where she worked as a weather producer with hurricane experts Bryan Norcross and David Bernard. She also produced hurricane specials and weather-related features and news coverage, as well as serving as pool TV producer at the National Hurricane Center during the 2004 and 2005 seasons. Donna also served as a researcher on NOAA's Atlantic Hurricane Database Reanalysis Project. Donna specializes in Florida's hurricane history.
