Stormy weather is on the way to South Florida on Monday as a front arrives. After a warm morning with patchy fog in spots, look for an early mix of clouds, sun, and showers. Then we’ll see storms move through during the late morning and afternoon. Some of those storms could be strong, with heavy rain, gusty winds, lightning, and possibly small hail. It won’t be a beach day, and a moderate risk of dangerous rip currents is in place at both the Atlantic and Gulf beaches on Monday. Highs on Monday will be in the low 80s in most locations and the upper 70s along the Gulf coast.
The front will clear the area Monday evening, and Tuesday will bring clearing skies and cooler and drier weather. Tuesday’s highs will only reach the low 70s.
Wednesday will feature good sun and a few clouds at times. Wednesday’s highs will be in the low to mid 70s.
Look for plenty of sun and a few clouds on Thursday. Thursday’s highs will be in the mid 70s.
Friday will be mostly sunny with a few clouds in the afternoon. Highs on Friday will be in the mid to upper 70s.
