Serial Bank Robber named The “Filter Bandit” is wanted by the FBI

By Mark Young, SouthFloridaReporter.com Managing Editor, July 7, 2015 – Over the years we’ve seen numerous bank robbery photos, but we don’t recall one where the disguise was a “dust filter” mask. In some of the photos, portions of the suspects face are visible. Maybe he didn’t have enough loot to buy the mask from his local pharmacy. No matter, you can see he is armed, and should be considered dangerous. If you can help the FBI track him down, you may qualify for a $5,000 reward.  Here’s the info from the FBI:

The FBI believes these seven robberies involve the same individual.

Investigators are calling this robber the “Filter Bandit” because he typically wears a dust filter mask along with dark colored pants and a dark colored hooded sweatshirt during the robberies.  The FBI is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for these armed takeover robberies:

He should be considered ARMED AND DANGEROUS.
