Periods Of Showers, Sun, And Clouds Today

South Florida will see showers and periods of sun on Monday. After some early showers to start the day, Monday features a mix of sun and clouds with periods of showers in spots. A high risk of dangerous rip currents is still in place at the Atlantic beaches. Highs on Monday will be in the mid to upper 80s.

 

Our first real front in a while moves through on Tuesday, and we’ll see clouds, showers, and a few storms during the day as it arrives. Tuesday’s highs will be in the mid 80s.

Wednesday will bring some lingering showers to start, followed by sun and clouds on the breeze. Wednesday’s highs will be near 80 degrees.

Faith Based Events

Thursday morning will be refreshingly cool, with lows in the upper 50s to low 60s. The day features plenty of sun and pleasantly drier air. Thursday’s highs will be in the upper 70s.

After another cool start, look for sun, a few clouds, and maybe a stray shower on Friday. Highs on Friday will be in the low to mid 80s.

In the tropics, an area of storms and showers has popped up near the coast of Nicaragua. The National Hurricane Center gives it a medium chance of developing into a depression during the next 5 days.

She holds a PhD in history when her experience with Hurricane Andrew ultimately led her to earn a degree in broadcast meteorology from Mississippi State University. Donna spent 15 years at WFOR-TV (CBS4 in Miami-Fort Lauderdale), where she worked as a weather producer with hurricane experts Bryan Norcross and David Bernard. She also produced hurricane specials and weather-related features and news coverage, as well as serving as pool TV producer at the National Hurricane Center during the 2004 and 2005 seasons. Donna also served as a researcher on NOAA's Atlantic Hurricane Database Reanalysis Project. Donna specializes in Florida's hurricane history.
