Rain chances step up a little Wednesday and Thursday with Thursday offering the best chance of storms rain chances are around 40% Thursday and 50% Friday. Highs will remain warm, topping out in the low 90s.
Rain chances look to drop again as we round out the week and head into the weekend.
The final advisory has been written on Irma and it’s now a “post-tropical cyclone.” Irma continues to bring heavy rain to the Carolinas and Tennessee Valley. Meanwhile, Jose continues to spin in the Atlantic, roughly 700 miles east of us as a minimal hurricane.
The forecast looks good for us as Jose is expected to lift north beginning this weekend. Some impact to the U.S. East Coast is possible.
