Cooler days are ahead for South Florida, starting on Saturday. Saturday morning will start with some fog (dense in spots). Then the day features a mix of sun and clouds on the breeze. A moderate risk of dangerous rip currents remains in place at the beaches of Miami-Dade and Broward, with a high risk at the beaches in Palm Beach County. Highs on Saturday will be in the upper 70s.
Sunday will see morning lows in the low to mid 50s. Then we’ll see a mix of sun and clouds along with an elevated risk of rip currents at the beaches as 2017 comes to a close. Sunday’s highs will be in the mid 70s. New Year’s Eve will be a bit cool but dry, so outdoor celebrations should be fine.
