Chilly Breeze Kicks Off Cold Week

South Florida will be chilly and breezy on Sunday, kicking off a cold week. Skies will gradually clear on Sunday (as a stray shower could move through in the morning), and a strong northwest breeze will bring in cold air. Sunday’s highs will top off in the mid 60s, dropping quickly after sundown.

chillyMonday morning will be cold, with morning lows in the low to mid 40s on the mainland. Even with plenty of sun, Monday’s highs will just reach the mid 60s.

Tuesday morning will be chilly, with lows in the low 50s, and highs will reach the upper 60s on a sunny afternoon.

Reinforcing cold air will keep the chill around on Wednesday, when highs will be in the mid to upper 60s.

Thursday and Friday will be a bit warmer, with afternoon temperatures reaching the low 70s.
