Wynwood hotspot Beaker & Gray is switching things up this Christmas with Executive Chef Brian Nasajons holiday go to’s – Jewish and Chinese cuisine. On Christmas Day, guests will be treated to alternative holiday a la carte offerings including General Tso’s Chicken with pineapple and sweet n’ sour sauce; Potato Latkes with charred scallion and horseradish cream; Lo Mein with juicy pork rib and stir fry; and Shakshuka with feta cheese and sour dough bread. Beaker & Gray will ring in the New Year with a four-course menu offered at $80 per person, or $125 complete with wine pairings. The restaurant will host two seatings at 6PM and 9PM,  which will include first course option of Chilled Maine Lobster with pancetta, Marcona almond and English pea; followed by Pappardelle with braised rabbit, artichoke and caraway; and for the third course a juicy Domestic Lamb with carrot, char Siu and baby root vegetable.  Diners can end 2016 on a sweet note with decadent Chocolate Cracklin’ with Bartlett pear, caramel and chocolate angel food cake.  Guests who dine at 9PM will receive a complimentary glass of champagne to toast at midnight. Kuro at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Hollywood is closing out 2016 with an Omakase New Year’s Eve menu. In addition to the regular menu, Kuro is offering a $150 per person tasting menu that includes Salmon with caviar, uni and root vegetables; Toro with smoked tofu and wasabi; Soba with King crab and black truffle; Monkfish with Wagyu “lardo” and tomato broth; Wagyu with white truffle and sesame kimizu; chef’s choice Sushi; and end with Mont Blanc – chestnut mousse, kinako cake and red bean.  In addition, guests can pair dinner with a specialty New Year’s cocktail – Jū Nana ($14) with champagne, cognac, cranberry and ginger. BLT Prime Miami is offering guests a three course prix fixe Christmas Blackboard Menu ($65), as well as a la carte options. The Dutch, inside the W South Beach, is inviting guests to celebrate the holidays in style with Christmas and New Year’s dinners.  On Christmas Eve, the $50 per person (excluding tax and gratuity) dinner will include a traditional Caja China Pig Roast, along with other savory Latin dishes prepared by Executive Chef Adonay Tafur. Guests can spend the evening in the Grove, the Dutch’s lush outdoor playground, enjoying board games, sipping Coquitos ($8); all while enjoying live music by DJ Bre. The celebration continues on New Year’s Eve, when guests are invited back for a five course prix-fixe dinner, with a vegetarian menu available upon request. The special a la carte menu willfeature seasonal Alba white truffles. In addition to the regular a la carte menu, specials include, antipasti Fonduta Tartufata con Crostini – Fontina cheese fondue, poached egg yolk and toasted biova croutons ($40) and Tartare Di Filetto All’Albese – tartar of filet mignon, artichoke salad and crispy Parmigiano Reggiano ($45). Primi Piatti includes Tagliolini Delle Langhe Al Burro Montato – “langhe” tagliolini in Italian butter sauce ($85); and Risotto con Toma Ossolana – risotto with Piemontese Toma cheese ($85). Secondi Piatti features Robespierre Di Filetto Con Porcini – thinly sliced beef tenderloin with sautéed porcini mushrooms ($95); and Scaloppine di Vitella Tartufate – veal scaloppini with truffle butter sauce and truffle fries ($95).

Beloved Miami Beach eatery, Macchialina, will be offering a special four-course Chef’s Tasting Menu for the holidays in addition to its classic dinner menu of rustic Italian favorites. On Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve, the feast will feature a variety of dishes in each course – served family style – for $55 per person, with an additional wine pairing for $28 per person. The restaurant will also be offering specials such as a succulent Veal Osso Bucco and Whole Roasted Fish with white wine and cherry tomatoes; available a la carte or as part of the tasting menu. Miami Beach’s seafood hotspot, Lure Fishbar, will be offering holiday diners a special a la carte menu of delicacies prepared by Executive Chef John Iatrellis on Christmas Eve; the restaurant will be closed on Christmas Day. To ring in the New Year, Lure will be hosting two seating’s on New Year’s Eve, an early seating for those looking to enjoy an amazing meal, before heading off to other festivities, from 6PMto 8PM priced at $85 per person (excluding beverages and gratuity) and a late seating, for those looking to celebrate and ring in the new year in the beautiful restaurant from 8PM to 11:30PM priced at $155 per person (excluding beverages and gratuity). StripSteak by Michael Mina, Fontainebleau’s modern American steakhouse is offering a three-course, holiday-inspired prix-fixe menu priced at $75 per person, excluding tax and gratuity, available from 6 p.m. – 11 p.m. on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.  Guests will enjoy a first course of roasted baby beets with Acacia honey vinaigrette, candied hazelnuts, blue cheese, balsamic and watercress; followed by the main course, wood grilled filet mignonwith Malabar peppercorn, fingerling potato confit and parsley mustard purée. For dessert, diners will enjoy warm apple crumble with eggnog ice cream

Scarpetta, Those seeking a rustic yet elegant holiday meal with a nod to the Feast of the Seven Fishes can indulge in Scarpetta’s four-course prix-fixe menu available on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day from 6 p.m. – 11 p.m. Priced at $75 per person, excluding tax and gratuity, guests will enjoy cioppino with mussels, clams, prawns, and shellfish brodo followed by tagliatelle with lobster, crab, concentrated tomato and pickled ramps; seared snapper with spiced fennel purée, fregola nero and salsa verde; and for dessert, salted caramel budino with rum chantilly and gingerbread.

Vida, On Christmas Eve and Christmas Day from 5 p.m. – 10 p.m. Vida will offer a bountiful traditional Christmas buffet for $65 per adult and $32.50 for kids, excluding tax and gratuity.
