In the tropics, we’re watching a non-tropical low that has formed about 600 miles east-southeast of Bermuda.  This low has a low chance of becoming a subtropical or tropical depression as it meanders in the open ocean during the next 5 days.  Elsewhere, computer models indicate that a low will form in the southwestern Caribbean and linger there.  This feature is expected to have a low chance of development by the middle of next week.  We’ll keep an eye on it.
