Sunday features hazy sun and periods of showers and storms in the east coast metro area, while the Gulf coast will see sun and storms in the morning and plenty of showers in the afternoon.  Look for clouds and showers in the Keys.  Highs on Sunday will be in the upper 80s near the Atlantic coast and in the Keys, near 90 degrees along the Gulf coast, and in the low 90s elsewhere in South Florida.

Monday will bring a mix of sun, clouds, and mainly afternoon showers and storms to the east coast metro area.  The Gulf coast will see sun and storms in the morning and periods of showers in the afternoon and evening.  The Keys will see a mix of sun, clouds, and a few showers.  Monday’s highs will be near 90 degrees on the mainland and in the upper 80s in the Keys.

Tuesday will feature some sun, more clouds, and periods of showers and storms in the east coast metro area.  The Gulf coast will be mostly sunny with some storms, mainly in the afternoon.  Look for sun and clouds in the Keys.  Tuesday’s highs will be near 90 degrees on the mainland and in the upper 80s in the Keys.

Wednesday will see some sun, more clouds, and periods of showers and storms on the mainland.  The Keys will be mostly sunny with showers in spots.  Wednesday’s highs will be near 90 degrees on the mainland and in the upper 80s in the Keys.

Faith Based Events

Thursday’s forecast calls for partly sunny skies alternating with showers and storms on the mainland, while the Keys will see good sun and some clouds.  Highs on Thursday will be near 90 degrees on the mainland and in the upper 80s in the Keys.

In the tropics, the area of disturbed weather that is now in the Gulf of Campeche has some chance of developing before it comes ashore in Mexico.  This feature continues to bring heavy rain to the Yucatan and portions of Central America.

She holds a PhD in history when her experience with Hurricane Andrew ultimately led her to earn a degree in broadcast meteorology from Mississippi State University. Donna spent 15 years at WFOR-TV (CBS4 in Miami-Fort Lauderdale), where she worked as a weather producer with hurricane experts Bryan Norcross and David Bernard. She also produced hurricane specials and weather-related features and news coverage, as well as serving as pool TV producer at the National Hurricane Center during the 2004 and 2005 seasons. Donna also served as a researcher on NOAA's Atlantic Hurricane Database Reanalysis Project. Donna specializes in Florida's hurricane history.
