Video of armed suspect attempting to abduct woman

By Mark Young, SouthFloridaReporter.com Managing Editor, Aug 4, 2015 – Miami-Dade police have released surveillance video that shows a violent attack on a woman. The suspect attempted to drag her into an area where he could sexually assault her. If you know anything that could assist police in apprehending the suspect, please contact them. Police have also released a sketch of the suspect. Here’s the information:

The Miami-Dade Police Department, Special Victims Bureau, is investigating an Armed Kidnapping and Sexual Battery attempt. The 38-year-old female victim was violently attacked by an armed black male subject, 5’7″ in height, and thin built while walking home. The attack occurred near the intersection of West Dixie Hwy & N.E. 115 Street, Miami.

There is no further information at this time.

The public is urged to be vigilant and aware of their surroundings. Report any suspicious person(s) to Miami-Dade Police.
