West Palm Beach Mayor Jeri Muoio must have been drinking some of her own Kool-Aid about the Northwood neighborhood coming back up.
Muoio and her husband, Chuck, dropped $1.275 million on a historic but aging property in the up-and-down northeast corner of the city, Gossip Extra has learned exclusively.
The Muoios pulled the trigger on their big purchase a few days after their suburban McMansion in the Ibis Golf and Country Club in the far western confines of WPB sold for a tidy $1.25 million.
It was on the market on-and-off for nearly three years, and the Muoios lost their shirts on that property: They bought the Ibis house in 2002 for $1.35 million!
Her Honer’s new Northwood place at 3001 Spruce Ave., according to records, is two blocks west from TV talker Rosie O’Donnell‘s new place at 3000 Flagler.
The property boasts a 1928 house with five bedroom and three bathrooms over 4,310 square feet under AC, and has quite a history.
