South Florida will be windy Wednesday. Look for periods of sun and clouds and showers on the breeze, a high risk of dangerous rip currents at the Atlantic beaches on Wednesday and lasting at least through Thursday morning, and highs in the mid 80s.
After a mild morning with lows ranging from the mid 70s at the coast to the upper 60s in the far western suburbs, Thursday will be breezy. A few showers may blow through coastal locations and reach the western sections of Miami-Dade and Broward. The risk of dangerous rip currents will be high in the morning and remain elevated throughout the day. Thursday’s highs will be in the mid 80s.
Friday will bring some showers on the breeze as a front approaches. Friday’s highs will be in the low 80s.
Look for some passing showers and clouds on a strong breeze, an increasing risk of dangerous rip currents at the Atlantic beaches, and highs in the upper 70s on Saturday.
Make sure to set your clocks back one hour late on Saturday for the start of standard time on Sunday. After that extra hour of sleep, we’ll see plenty of sun, some clouds on the breeze, and highs in the upper 70s on Sunday.
The tropics remain quiet.
