Windy With Some Showers Today, Saturday

showers today

showers todaySouth Florida will be windy with showers today. Friday’s weather is all about the front that moved in overnight and will linger through the day. After morning lows in the 60s, look for windy conditions (including periods of strong gusts) and passing showers, especially during the afternoon and evening. Lots of clouds will blow in, and highs will top out in the upper 70s on Friday. The risk of dangerous rip currents will reach high levels at the Atlantic beaches on Friday and remain high at least until early Monday.

A few showers will linger early on Saturday, followed by mostly cloudy skies and breezy conditions with a high risk of dangerous rip currents at the Atlantic beaches. Highs on Saturday will be in the mid 70s.

Clouds and a few showers are in the forecast on a breezy Sunday. And a high risk of dangerous rip currents remains in place at the Atlantic beaches. Sunday’s highs will be in the mid 70s.

Look for a warming trend to begin on Monday. We’ll see more sun, fewer clouds, and highs in the upper 70s.
