It’s wet and stormy today in South Florida. After overnight showers, some with heavy rain, Wednesday will feature more of the same. Showers and storms will blow through on the breeze during the day, bringing periods of heavy rain, gusty winds, and dangerous lightning. It won’t be a beach day, which is just as well, because there’s a high risk of dangerous rip currents at the Atlantic beaches on Wednesday. Wednesday’s highs will hold steady in the mid 70s, just a few degrees warmer than the morning lows.
Showers and storms will continue Wednesday evening, and showers will linger into Thursday morning. After those early showers, we’ll see gradual clearing on Thursday. Thursday’s highs will be near 80 degrees.
A nice mix of sun and clouds is in the forecast for Friday. Friday’s highs will be in the low 80s.
Mostly dry and warm conditions linger on Saturday, and we’ll see good sun with a few clouds. Highs will be in the low to mid 80s on Saturday.
A weak front moves through on Sunday, bringing in some clouds on the breeze. Sunday’s highs will be in the upper 70s.
