The 2016 Olympics has synchronized diving – a feat that takes a lot of practice. Next week female Olympians will take part in synchronized swimming. Some teams will win Gold, Silver or Bronze medals, but none will earn a place in the Guinness Book Of World Records.
However, a team of 1,000 synchronized dancers has won a spot in the famed records book. At a festival in China, under the watchful eyes of Guinness judges, they boogyed and shaked in a 60-second routine. Some of them fell over, or stopped dancing and were disqualified, but in the end 1,007 of them were successful in setting a new world record.
Oh, did I mention they robots, all controlled from one mobile phone? As they say on TV, “let’s go to the videotape.”
