
Last Monday a BSO Deputy was videotaped by a security guard near 12 N. Federal Highway, Pompano Beach. Except this wasn’t a violent confrontation. In fact it was an act of kindness to a fellow man.
In the following video you’ll see how BSO Deputy Mario Potvin interact with a homeless man.

“One love, that’s what’s up!”
A security guard’s statement summarizes so well what BSO Deputy Mario Potvin was doing Monday (Aug. 1) at a shopping plaza in Pompano Beach.
The security guard captured Deputy Potvin handing out clean clothes to a homeless man. When asked why he was helping out the man, Deputy Potvin said: “Because they are human beings, too. They have a hard time, but they are good people.”
Deputy Potvin, who works road patrol in Pompano Beach, loves helping those who find themselves with no place to call home. “I consider them family; this is my calling,” he said.
Deputy Potvin has been with BSO for 15 years and is just one of the many BSO employees who #seethegood in Uniting Broward.
