Warm With Showers Today; Watching The Tropics

South Florida will be warm with showers around on Tuesday, but we’ll see a big change late in the workweek.  In the meantime, Tuesday features early east coast showers, and a mix of sun, clouds, and passing showers is on tap for the rest of the day.  Highs on Tuesday will be in the mid 80s right at the coasts and the upper 80s elsewhere.
Wednesday will be another day of sun, clouds, and passing showers.  Wednesday’s highs will be in the mid to upper 80s.
Look for showers late on Wednesday through Thursday as a front approaches, but we’ll also see some sun at times. Thursday’s highs will be in the mid 80s.
Plenty of showers will pass through on Thursday night into early Friday, but then skies will clear and both temperatures and humidity levels will drop.  Friday’s highs will be near 80 degrees.
Saturday will feature a nice mix of sun and clouds with a refreshing breeze.  Highs on Saturday will be in the low 80s.
In the tropics, the wave near the Lesser Antilles is not well organized early on Friday.  It now has a medium chance of developing into a subtropical or tropical depression during the next 5 days.  The front that will bring us cooler weather on Friday should be strong enough to keep the wave (or whatever it becomes) away from the U.S. east coast.  But we’ll continue to keep an eye on it.
