South Florida is off to a warm start as 2017 begins. After a mild morning, look for sun, clouds on the breeze, an elevated risk of rip currents at the Atlantic beaches, and highs in the low to mid 80s — quite a contrast from our brief taste of winter.
Monday will bring a few showers and more clouds, but we’ll see some sun as well. Monday’s highs will be in the low 80s.
Tuesday features a mix of sun and clouds, and highs will be in the low 80s. A few more clouds move in with a very weak front on Wednesday.
Wednesday’s highs will reach the low 80s.
Thursday will see more sun and fewer clouds, along with highs near the 80 degree mark.
