Warm And Dry As We Await Cold Front

South Florida will be warm and mostly dry on Friday as we wait for a front to arrive.  Friday features a mix of sun and clouds, with maybe a stray shower on the breeze.  The risk of dangerous rip currents will increase during the day, likely rising to moderate levels along both coasts by evening.  Some minor coastal flooding is also possible at high tides.  Highs on Friday will be in the upper 80s, with a few 90 degree readings in spots.
The front moves through on Saturday morning, so we’ll see winds shifting to the northwest and a few showers (especially along the Gulf coast).  Saturday’s highs will be in the mid to upper 80s.
Sunday morning will be refreshing, with lows in the mid to upper 60s.  Then the day will bring sun, lower humidity, and some clouds on the breeze.  Sunday’s highs will be in the low 80s.
Monday morning will be a bit cool, with lows ranging from the mid 60s along the east coast to the low 60s elsewhere.  The will feature a mix of sun and clouds.  Monday’s highs will be in the low 80s.
Tuesday’s forecast calls for a cool start and a mix of sun and clouds.  Highs on Tuesday will be in the low 80s.
In the tropics, the low in the central Atlantic has a high chance of developing and could become a tropical or subtropical storm by Friday night.  This system is expected to meander in the open Atlantic, but we’ll keep an eye on it.
