Unseasonably Warm Thursday, Cooler Days Ahead

South Florida will be unseasonably warm on Thursday, but cooler days are ahead. After a mild morning with fog in spots, Thursday brings sun, a few clouds, and highs in the low to mid 80s. Friday features a mix of sun and clouds as a front moves into the area.

Faith Based Events

Saturday morning will be chilly, with lows in the low to mid 50s, and the day will see some sun, lots of clouds, some showers, and highs topping out near 70 degrees.

Sunday morning will be chilly again, with lows mostly in the low 50s, with colder readings inland. Clouds and showers are in the forecast for Sunday, and highs will be near the 70 degree mark.

Clouds will linger on Monday, and fewer showers will be around. Monday’s highs will be in the low 70s.

She holds a PhD in history when her experience with Hurricane Andrew ultimately led her to earn a degree in broadcast meteorology from Mississippi State University. Donna spent 15 years at WFOR-TV (CBS4 in Miami-Fort Lauderdale), where she worked as a weather producer with hurricane experts Bryan Norcross and David Bernard. She also produced hurricane specials and weather-related features and news coverage, as well as serving as pool TV producer at the National Hurricane Center during the 2004 and 2005 seasons. Donna also served as a researcher on NOAA's Atlantic Hurricane Database Reanalysis Project. Donna specializes in Florida's hurricane history.
