With primary-election season in full swing and the tax filing deadline approaching, the personal finance website WalletHub conducted an in-depth analysis of 2016’s Cities with the Most Efficient Public Spending.
To identify the local governments that are spending taxpayer dollars most efficiently, WalletHub’s analysts tallied the scores among 78 of the largest cities on key expenditure categories.
The City of Miami ranked number two while Hialeah came in 6th. Four other Florida cities were on the list, none of those from South Florida.
