Tuesday Will Be Rainy, Heavy At Times, Flooding Possible

South Florida will see heavy rain move in on Tuesday, and localized flooding is possible.  The day features overcast conditions, plenty of showers, gusty winds at times, and periods of heavy rain.  Up to three to four inches of rainfall is possible through Wednesday.  A high risk of dangerous rip currents is in place at the Atlantic beaches on Tuesday lasting through Wednesday evening.  Highs on Tuesday will be in the low 70s along the east coast and a bit cooler elsewhere.

Wednesday will see clouds and showers once again, with rainfall beginning to taper off as the day progresses.  Wednesday’s highs will be in the mid 70s.

The sun will return on Thursday as a few clouds linger.  Thursday’s highs will be mostly in the mid 70s.

Friday will feature blue skies and plenty of sun.  Friday’s highs will be in the mid to upper 70s.

Faith Based Events

Look for good sun and a few clouds on Saturday.  Highs on Saturday will be near 80 degrees.

She holds a PhD in history when her experience with Hurricane Andrew ultimately led her to earn a degree in broadcast meteorology from Mississippi State University. Donna spent 15 years at WFOR-TV (CBS4 in Miami-Fort Lauderdale), where she worked as a weather producer with hurricane experts Bryan Norcross and David Bernard. She also produced hurricane specials and weather-related features and news coverage, as well as serving as pool TV producer at the National Hurricane Center during the 2004 and 2005 seasons. Donna also served as a researcher on NOAA's Atlantic Hurricane Database Reanalysis Project. Donna specializes in Florida's hurricane history.
