
Ever since I was a little girl, my mother always instilled me with manners. “It’s never wrong to send a thank-you note,” she would remind me.
Well, kudos to the government of Thailand and the officials at the Thailand Tourism Office. Their mothers must have told them the same thing.
On Sunday, the Thai government released a heartfelt video to the world expressing the country’s thanks for global support during the daunting 17-day search and rescue mission at Chiang Rai’s Tham Luang Cave.
The video was produced by the Tourism Authority of Thailand and opens with the July 2 scene of the Wild Boars football team stranded inside the dark cave, emaciated but safe.
