NFL jerseys featuring pop star Taylor Swift’s name on the back are the eighth-most searched-for NFL jerseys in America, according to a new study that has revealed the most popular NFL player jerseys this season.
Since she began dating Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce, NFL memorabilia with Taylor’s name on it has been in swift demand with fans, in fact, Taylor Swift NFL jerseys are more searched than over 1,600 NFL players across America.
The research from FlashPicks, a betting picks, parlays, predictions and news brand, analyzed Google Search volume data across America for active NFL players as well as Taylor Swift from September to December, to find the stars with the most popular jerseys in the league.
There have been 114,520 searches around NFL jerseys for Swift this season, which makes her ‘jersey’ the eighth most popular across America, and puts her higher than 1,689 players in the NFL.
Since the beginning of the season, searches such as ‘Taylor Swift football jersey’ and ‘Swift Chiefs jersey’ have massively risen in popularity as fans look to sport NFL clothing with a Swiftie twist.
There has also been a 176% increase in NFL-related searches for Swift since the start of the season, with terms such as ‘Taylor Swift Chiefs’ and ‘Taylor Swift NFL’ having an average of 109,320 searches each month.
Swift’s partner, Travis Kelce, ranks in third. The tight end has seen a sharp rise in popularity since he began dating the pop star, and this is reflected in the 201,160 searches for his jersey this season – luckily for him, he remains more popular than his girlfriend in the NFL.
Kelce has seen some of his highest searches this season in California (17,600), Florida (11,600), New York (11,600), and Texas (14,400).
Swift ranks higher than all Florida-based players, with the most popular jersey belonging to Tyreek Hill, with 91,440 searches for his jersey this season, the 14th most across America.
Baker Mayfield has the second most popular Florida jersey and is the highest ranked Tampa Bay Buccaneers player in 27th overall. The 29-year-old has received 36,280 searches for his jersey since September.
The third most popular jersey belonging to a Florida-based player is the Dolphins cornerback Jalen Ramsey, who ranks 60th with 16,120 searches for his jersey this season. The next most popular jersey is Tua Tagovailoa’s in 75th, with 11,360 searches for his jersey since September.
The only Jacksonville Jaguars player inside the top 100 is quarterback Trevor Lawrence. He has received just 9,360 jersey searches this season.

The most popular jersey in America belongs to Jordan Love of the Green Bay Packers. The 26-year-old quarterback has seen 264,400 searches for his jersey this season and has some of his highest searches in California (26,400), Florida (11,600), and his home state of Wisconsin (48,400).
Joe Burrow is in fourth place as his jersey has received over 166,400 searches this year. The Cincinnati Bengals star has most of his searches in his team’s state of Ohio (21,600).
Three-time Super Bowl MVP Patrick Mahomes is in fifth. The 28-year-old has 159,120 online searches this season and unsurprisingly has the number one searched jersey in Kansas (4,000) and Missouri (7,600).
Sixth spot belongs to rookie Caleb Williams, who has 147,360 searches this season. He is followed by Davante Adams in seventh, the New York Jets wide receiver is the final player to have a more popular jersey than Swift with 133,160 searches since September.
Rounding off the top 10 is the San Francisco 49ers Brandon Aiyuk, who has 113,360 searches in the 2024-25 season.
Callum Broxton, Head of Operations at FlashPicks commented on the research: “There has been a lot of media attention of Taylor Swift attending Kansas City Chiefs matches this season, so it’s no surprise that her fans are looking to purchase NFL jerseys with her name on.
“Luckily for Travis Kelce, he is still more popular than Swift when it comes to NFL memorabilia, but others aren’t so lucky. The Chiefs are sure to cash in on the extra commerciality of having Swift dating one of their star players, but will she be able to crack the top five most popular NFL jerseys by next season?”
Methodology:
Online search data was taken from Google Ads Keyword Planner from all 50 states across America. 384 of the most high-profile players and rookies were included in the study as well as Taylor Swift. Data was taken from September to December 2024 to calculate the search volume.
