Sunday Starts Nice Deteriorating Into Dangerous Storms

Dangerous Storms

South Florida’s Sunday will begin tranquilly but deteriorate with windy conditions and dangerous storms. We’ll see sun, clouds, increasingly windy conditions, and highs in the low 80s during most of the daylight hours on Sunday. A wind advisory is in place for Sunday into Monday. Then a strong front moves in late Sunday night into early Monday, bringing dangerous — possibly severe — storms. Look for periods of heavy rain, gusty winds, lightning, and the possibility of a tornado overnight and into the predawn hours of Monday.

Dangerous stormsThere is a threat for severe Thunderstorms later today and tonight. Do you know the multiple ways to get warnings?

Storms and showers will taper off on Monday as drier and slightly cooler air moves in. Monday’s highs will be in the mid 70s.

Tuesday will be sunny and breezy, and highs will be in the mid 70s.

Wednesday brings plenty of sun, a few clouds, and highs in the mid 70s.

Look for a mix of sun and clouds on Thursday, when highs will reach the seasonable upper 70s.
