Saturday features a gusty breeze with plenty of sun and a few clouds.  Expect a high risk of dangerous rip currents at the Atlantic beaches on Saturday into the first days of the workweek.  Highs on Saturday will be in the upper-70s along the coasts, near 80 degrees elsewhere on the mainland, and mostly in the mid-70s in the Keys.

Sunday will bring breezy conditions and a mix of sun, clouds, and a few showers to the East Coast metro area, while the Gulf Coast will be sunny.  Look for good sun and a few clouds in the Keys.  Sunday’s highs will be in the low 80s on the mainland and the upper 70s in the Keys.

Monday will feature mostly sunny skies with a few quick showers in the East Coast metro area.  The Gulf Coast will see lots of sun, while the Keys will see clouds and showers.  Monday’s highs will be in the low-80s on the mainland and the upper-70s in the Keys.

Tuesday will be mostly sunny on the mainland, and the East Coast metro area will also occasionally see a few showers.  The Keys will be cloudy with periods of showers and maybe a storm in spots.  Tuesday’s highs will be in the low-80s on the mainland and the upper-70s in the Keys.

Faith Based Events

Wednesday’s forecast calls for a mix of sun and clouds on the mainland.  Don’t rule out a quick shower or two in the East Coast metro area.  Clouds and showers will linger in the Keys.  Highs on Wednesday will be in the low-80s on the mainland and the upper-70s in the Keys.

Donna spent 15 years at WFOR-TV (CBS4 in Miami-Fort Lauderdale), where she worked as a weather producer with hurricane experts Bryan Norcross and David Bernard. She also produced hurricane specials and weather-related features and news coverage, as well as serving as pool TV producer at the National Hurricane Center during the 2004 and 2005 seasons. Donna also served as a researcher on NOAA's Atlantic Hurricane Database Reanalysis Project. Donna specializes in Florida's hurricane history.
