April ShowerSouth Florida will see sun, clouds, and maybe an April shower on Monday. After a seasonably mild start with a few early showers in spots, Monday features a mix of sun and clouds with the possibility of an afternoon shower in spots as the sea breezes develop on both coasts. A moderate risk of dangerous rip currents remains at the Atlantic beaches. Highs on Monday will be in the low 80s, but locations well inland could be a bit warmer.

Tuesday will begin with morning lows ranging from the mid 60s to just above 70 degrees. Then the day will bring a mix of sun and clouds with a few of those afternoon showers. Tuesday’s highs will be in the mid 80s.

Wednesday will see sun, clouds, and maybe a few showers late as a weak front creeps toward the area. Wednesday’s highs will be in the mid 80s (and even a bit warmer well inland).

Thursday will feature sun, some clouds, and maybe a stray shower in spots. Thursday’s highs will be in the low 80s.

Faith Based Events

Look for a mix of sun and clouds — with maybe a shower at times — as the workweek wraps up on Friday. Highs on Friday will be mostly in the low 80s, but some inland locations could reach the mid 80s.

She holds a PhD in history when her experience with Hurricane Andrew ultimately led her to earn a degree in broadcast meteorology from Mississippi State University. Donna spent 15 years at WFOR-TV (CBS4 in Miami-Fort Lauderdale), where she worked as a weather producer with hurricane experts Bryan Norcross and David Bernard. She also produced hurricane specials and weather-related features and news coverage, as well as serving as pool TV producer at the National Hurricane Center during the 2004 and 2005 seasons. Donna also served as a researcher on NOAA's Atlantic Hurricane Database Reanalysis Project. Donna specializes in Florida's hurricane history.
