Summertime Storms And Hot Weather Today

Summertime Storms

Summertime StormsSouth Florida will see some summertime storms on Friday, but the east coast will deal with most of the activity.  Friday features a mix of sun and clouds early, with showers and storms developing during the afternoon as the sea breeze kicks in along the Atlantic coast.  Highs on Friday will be in the low 90s — but it will feel as much as 10 degrees hotter.

After some overnight showers in spots, Saturday will bring sun and clouds to start and afternoon storms and showers, especially in the east coast metro areas.  Periods of heavy rain are possible with slow moving storms.  Saturday’s highs will be in the low 90s.

Sunday will feature more of the same — sun, clouds, and late-day showers and storms.  Sunday’s highs will be in the low 90s.

The rainy season pattern continues on Monday, with those afternoon showers and storms returning.  Monday’s highs will be in the low 90s.

Tuesday will be another typical South Florida summer day, with hot sun, building clouds, and afternoon storms and showers.  Highs on Tuesday will be in the low 90s.
