Storms Around, Some Could Be Strong

Afternoon storms around South Florida on Saturday, and some could be strong. Look for early passing showers, followed highs in the sticky low 90s and developing afternoon storms. Periods of heavy rain, dangerous lightning, and gusty winds are possible with storms aroundsome of these storms.

Sunday will feature some passing showers, a few afternoon storms in spots, and highs in the low 90s.

Saharan dust will move in early in the week, damping storm chances.

The 4th of July forecast includes a few passing showers, maybe a stray storm in the afternoon, and highs in the sizzling low 90s. The evening should be fine for watching fireworks.

Tuesday and Wednesday will bring a few showers, maybe an isolated inland storm, and highs in the sweltering low to mid 90s.
