Still Waiting For Autumn

Tuesday features good sun and a few showers in the east coast metro area, while the Gulf coast will see sun to start, followed by clouds, showers, and humidity.  Minor flooding at high tide is likely along the Atlantic coast at least through Tuesday evening.  A moderate risk of dangerous rip currents remains at the Atlantic beaches.  Highs on Tuesday will be in the upper 80s in the east coast metro area and the sticky low 90s elsewhere.

Wednesday will bring lots of sun, breezy conditions along the east coast, and passing showers in the afternoon.  Wednesday’s highs will be in the upper 80s in the east coast metro area and a bit warmer along the Gulf coast and in the interior.

Thursday will feature a mix of sun and clouds with passing afternoon showers.  Thursday’s highs will be in the upper 80s.  Halloween evening should be mostly dry for east coast trick-or-treaters.  But little ghouls along the Gulf coast might have to dodge some passing showers on Halloween night.

Faith Based Events

Look for a mix of sun and clouds on Friday, with some passing afternoon showers (mostly along the Gulf coast) as well.  Friday’s highs will be in the upper 80s.

Saturday’s forecast calls for good sun, a few clouds, and passing showers in spots.  Highs on Saturday will be in the upper 80s.

In the tropics, a  non-tropical low several hundred miles west-northwest of the Azores is producing strong winds.  It has a low chance of becoming a subtropical storm or depression during the next couple of days (before conditions become unfavorable starting on Thursday night).
