Still Cool, But Warmup on the Way

Sunday features a very cool start but lots of sun on the mainland and mostly sunny skies in the Keys.  Expect an elevated risk of dangerous rip currents along the Palm Beach County coast.  Highs on Sunday will be in the mid-70s.

Monday will bring a more seasonable start, with lows mostly in the 60s. The day will be sunny along the Gulf Coast, while the East Coast metro area and the Keys will see a mix of sun and clouds. Monday’s highs will be near 80 degrees.

Tuesday will feature a nice mix of sun and clouds in the East Coast metro area.  The Gulf Coast and the Keys will be sunny.  Tuesday’s highs will be in the low 80s on the mainland and near 80 degrees in the Keys.

Wednesday will be a sunny and seasonably warm day around South Florida.  Wednesday’s highs will be in the low 80s on the mainland and near 80 degrees in the Keys.

Faith Based Events

The Thanksgiving Day forecast calls for lots of sun along with plenty of good things to eat.  Highs on Thursday will be in the low 80s on the mainland and near 80 degrees in the Keys.

The tropical Atlantic remains quiet as we count down to the end of hurricane season.

She holds a PhD in history when her experience with Hurricane Andrew ultimately led her to earn a degree in broadcast meteorology from Mississippi State University. Donna spent 15 years at WFOR-TV (CBS4 in Miami-Fort Lauderdale), where she worked as a weather producer with hurricane experts Bryan Norcross and David Bernard. She also produced hurricane specials and weather-related features and news coverage, as well as serving as pool TV producer at the National Hurricane Center during the 2004 and 2005 seasons. Donna also served as a researcher on NOAA's Atlantic Hurricane Database Reanalysis Project. Donna specializes in Florida's hurricane history.
