Just 13 months after its U.S. introduction, Chevy has introduced a refreshed 2017 Trax.
Priced from $22,790 including destination, the Trax features an all-new front-end appearance, a refreshed rear fascia, LED lighting accents on all but the base trim level, a new instrument panel, a new infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, keyless open and start and a new design for the available 18” wheels.
The Trax packages premium features, surprising cargo versatility and the most standard airbags in the class giving it the highest percentage of female customers in the Chevy lineup at nearly 60%.
No matter if its front- or all-wheel drive all Trax models are powered by a 1.4-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine and a 6-speed automatic transmission making 138 horsepower and 148 pound-feet of torque. Gas mileage is rated at either 27 or 28mpg in combined driving depending on specification.
Available in LS, LT and new for 2017, Premier trim, the Trax comes standard with OnStar 4G LTE connectivity and a Wi-Fi hotspot on a 3-month free trial.
Active safety features such as Side Blind Zone Alert and Forward Collision Alert are available, complementing the standard rear-vision camera.
