Some Showers And Few Storms Today

Few Storms
South Florida will see some showers and a few storms on Wednesday as we begin the month of August.  After some early east coast showers, Wednesday features passing showers and maybe an isolated storm in the east coast metro areas before midday.  Showers and storms shift to the interior and the Gulf coast in the afternoon.  Highs on Wednesday will be near 90 degrees right along the east coast and the low 90s elsewhere.
Thursday will bring sun and clouds to start, with scattered showers and storms in the afternoon, especially inland and along the Gulf coast.  Thursday’s highs will be in the low 90s.
Friday will feature sun, clouds, and a few showers and storms, especially in the interior and along the Gulf coast.  Friday’s highs will be in the low 90s.
Saturday will see a mix of sun and clouds, followed by afternoon showers and storms.  Saturday’s highs will be in the low 90s.
Sunday’s forecast includes more of the same — sun, clouds, and a few showers and storms.  Highs on Sunday will be in the low 90s.
As we enter August (and approach the most active part of the hurricane season), the tropics remain quiet.
