Sizzling Hot, Showers And Storms Sunday

South Florida will be sizzling hot on Sunday, but we’ll also see periods of showers and even isolated storms. The day features a mix of sun and clouds with showers and a few storms passing through. Activity will be greatest in extreme northern Broward County and in Palm Beach County, and periods of heavy rain could lead to localized flooding. Highs on Sunday will be in the upper 80s in most locations.

Monday will start with early showers in spots and morning lows mostly in the low 70s. Then we’ll see hot sun, with clouds and showers developing along the Atlantic sea breeze in the afternoon. Monday’s highs will be in the upper 80s.

Tuesday’s forecast includes some sun, clouds, showers, and a few storms as a front approaches. Tuesday’s highs will be in the upper 80s again.

Wednesday will see showers to start as the front moves in. Then skies will begin to clear. Wednesday’s highs will be mostly in the low 80s.

Faith Based Events

Thursday will feature plenty of sun, a few clouds, and the chance of quick showers in spots. Highs on Thursday will be in the seasonable low 80s.

She holds a PhD in history when her experience with Hurricane Andrew ultimately led her to earn a degree in broadcast meteorology from Mississippi State University. Donna spent 15 years at WFOR-TV (CBS4 in Miami-Fort Lauderdale), where she worked as a weather producer with hurricane experts Bryan Norcross and David Bernard. She also produced hurricane specials and weather-related features and news coverage, as well as serving as pool TV producer at the National Hurricane Center during the 2004 and 2005 seasons. Donna also served as a researcher on NOAA's Atlantic Hurricane Database Reanalysis Project. Donna specializes in Florida's hurricane history.
