storms continue

Tuesday features plenty of clouds and periods of gusty showers and storms, with heavy rainfall at times.  A moderate risk of dangerous rip currents is in place at the beaches of Miami-Dade and Broward, while the Palm Beach coast still has a high rip current risk.  Highs on Tuesday will be in the mid 80s.

Wednesday will be wet again, with clouds, showers, and storms.  Wednesday’s highs will be in the mid 80s.

Thursday will feature sun at times but more clouds, and periods of showers and storms are in the forecast.  Thursday’s highs will be in the upper 80s.

Look for much more sun on Friday, along with passing showers and storms.  Friday’s highs will be in the upper 80s.

Saturday will be sunny and mostly dry.  Highs on Saturday will be in the mid 80s.

In the tropics, the disturbance over us is not expected to develop, but it has a low chance of reaching depression status as it moves off the central Florida coast in a day or so.  At that point, it would likely be absorbed by an area of showers well east of the Carolinas.  That feature has a low chance of developing as it moves slowly northward.  We’re also continuing to watch a low in the central Atlantic between Bermuda and the Azores.  This feature has a medium chance of becoming a subtropical or tropical depression before conditions become unfavorable late on Wednesday.
